Organization and Teams Handling
Creating an Organization
To create an organization, navigate to the Profile section from your user dashboard and click on "Create" under the organization section. A monthly subscription of $20 is required to maintain an organization, which includes 10 free seats. The user who creates the organization automatically becomes the Organization Admin.

Each user has the flexibility to create multiple organizations through their personal account, allowing them to manage various teams and projects with ease. This feature provides users with full control over their organizational structure, ensuring they can set up and manage as many organizations as needed to suit their unique requirements.
Each organizational user can seamlessly switch to their personal account directly from the dashboard. It's important to note that personal accounts operate independently, with separate API keys and billing details that are not being shared with the organization or team.

Roles in an Organization
There are three roles available within an organization:
- Organization AdminThe admin has the highest level of control and manages all payments, subscriptions, and administrative tasks. Every team is required to have an organization admin.
- Organization MaintainerMaintainers have almost the same privileges as the admin, except for a few administrative tasks. They assist in managing the organization.
- Organization MemberMembers are read-only users with access to the resources provided by the organization but limited in management capabilities.
Features and Permissions
Below are the key features of organization handling and the permissions associated with each role.
- User Invitations and Management
- Organization Admin and maintainer can send invitations to users via email, which are initially in a pending state. These invites can be canceled anytime.
- Upon accepting an invitation, a user gains access to the organization's subscriptions and credits, which can be utilized through their organizational account's API key.
- IP Whitelisting for Enhanced Security
- Admins and Maintainers can whitelist IPs for specific APIs, adding a security layer that allows only requests from those IPs.
- Endpoint Restrictions
- Admins and Maintainers can restrict users or the entire organization to access only specific endpoints. Organization-wide restrictions do not apply to the admin but apply to maintainers.
- Subscription Management and Usage Monitoring
- Both Admins and Maintainers can manage subscriptions, upgrade or downgrade plans, and view usage metrics for specific plans and organizational users.
- Flexible Role Management
- Admins and Maintainers can add, assign, and manage roles within the organization.
- Organization Cancellation
- The Organization Admin can cancel the organization subscription at any time. However, cancellation can only occur if all users have been removed from the organization. The admin must first remove all other users before canceling the subscription.
- After cancellation, the Organization Admin can still consume the organization's API subscription credits.
Note: The Organization Admin cannot leave the organization.
